Emmy loves to get involved in all types of events and celebrations, corporate, private, weddings, engagements, brunch, hens, community events, festivals and fairs! Below are a list of FAQ that might help provide some useful information for event preparation and using the Emmy Bee Event Van.

Emmy is a bit of a traveler and loves to explore Melbourne, the picturesque Yarra Valley and the beautiful surrounding areas. Ask to see if she is able to come to you, she loves a road trip!
Apart from a great time….
Emmy offers hot/cold drinks and food, the van herself provides the perfect backdrop for photos and lasting memories.
Emmy loves her look, but she keeps it simple so she can work with you to ensure that your dream comes to life.
Emmy has 2 bar fridges and if large quantities are required eskies/tubs can be provided. She also has a commercial coffee machine. Staff will be provided based on the event type and size.
Service is provided mainly from the van (table service is not provided as such). However if Emmy is providing food for your event, we are able to arrange to have the food taken to tables).
Access to power is required for Emmy to run, however if power is not available she can use her generator (she usually tries to avoid this for your event because even though it is a quiet generator it does creates a little background buzz).
Emmy can provide her own water, but she can only carry so much. When planning for your event if we feel more water will be required we will discuss this with you.
A lady never reveals her size, ok, maybe just this once.
Emmy is 4.3 metres long, 2metres wide and 2.45 metres high and weighs around 750kg (she has been on the scales once, but tries to avoid them)
She requires a flat surface of approx. 5m x 3m to set up on.
If you have any concerns if Emmy will fit, please mention this so that we can check prior to your booking. Please also note that sometimes on the day we may need to revise the preferred spot due to the access, surface, weather, side of the serving window, power source etc.
Delivery and travel is free for up to approximately 50 kilometres radius of the Melbourne CBD and Yarra Valley area. However, for venues more distant than this, Emmy may need to charge a travel fee.
Emmy is able to provide biodegradable cups, plates and cutlery when serving hot and cold beverages and food. For events limited glassware can be supplied. Emmy asks that your guests reuse their glass where possible as we generally cannot wash these.
While Emmy tries to stay responsible and clean up after herself she recommends you have designated areas for your guests to dispose of waste as she is unable to clean up after others.

Once your event is confirmed the date is yours, Emmy would never take another booking over yours. Emmy is a busy little bee, therefore a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The ‘balance’ is then due 30 days prior to your event. For cancellations more than 30 days out from your event, 50% of your quoted/invoiced fee (to 50% deposit) will be refunded. For cancellations within 30 days of your event no refund will apply.
Emmy Bee holds the licences and permits she requires for trading, however, if your event in located in a venue or on council owned property, you may also be required to obtain a permit for your event. Please check with your local council / venue as Emmy cannot be responsible for obtaining your permit. Copies of licences and permits can be provided if required. She is also registered wii street trader.
Emmy Bee has insurance for public liability. Certificate can be produced if required.
Being as environmentally friendly is important to Emmy Bee. Therefore she uses biodegradable items wherever possible.
Emmy tries to only use eco friendly coffee cups which are commercially compostable, reducing greenhouse gases, returning nutrients back to the earth and improving soil quality. The cups Emmy chooses to use are made from paper sourced from only from certified managed plantations, and a coated with a bioplastic made from plants not oil.
